In NSW alone, we recruited more than 40 engineers for the Lane Cove Tunnel project. In Queensland, we supplied a multitude of staff for the Gold Coast Desalination project. Meanwhile, in Victoria and Tasmania, we placed engineers on the Eastlink project, Victoria Desalination project and the Calder bypass. Non-residential construction has had a bumpy ride of late, with a 1% decline in 2010 in addition to an anticipated wind-down of the Building Education Revolution (BER) projects for the first quarter of 2011. Meanwhile, residential building is expected to recover next year, according to Australian Industry Group reports.
