Without a doubt this is the most important part of the entire
interview process. Although the following questions must be asked,
they must be done so in a manner that sounds genuine, unrehearsed and
consistent with your personality. Also these questions should not
appear on your written question list
- Do you have any concerns about my ability to perform this position well?
If there are any concerns try to overcome them
- I’d like you to know that I’m very interested in this position, and
if I were offered the job I would take it. I think this is a great
company and I’d love to work here. Given you have no concerns about my
ability to perform the role well, what is the next stage from here?
If the interviewer mentions another interview follow with:
- Is it convenient for us to make that time now? (with diary in front of you)
Upon standing up and shaking hands to thank them for their time you should ask:
- Do you have any company brochures or material that I could take with me to read over?
