Surveillance Engineers

Great opportunity for a Project Manger to move into a client side management role working on a major infrastructure project on the Murray River

Our client is a busy client side project management company who are based in Sydney. Currently they are working on a major civil water project on the Murray River and are looking for a proven Client Side - Surveillance Officer / Project Manager to join them on a permanent or contract basis and to help run this large infrastructure project from start to completion.

To be considered, applicants will need to have previous experience working as a Project Engineer or as a Project Managers on similar weirs, reservoirs, dams, culverts and drainage projects with civil contractors or as a client side project management company. You will additionally need to possess a Civil Degree and have between 5 - 7 years experience working within the construction industry.

In this role, you will be reporting to one of the Project Managers and be responsible for managing the project from site. So previous experience working as a Project Manager/ Client Side Project Manger; taking projects from start to completion is required. Exposure working on water, earthworks, concrete structures, pipelines projects would be seen as advantageous.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have effective communication and the ability to drive a project to completion. You will also be required to have an eye for detail and be process driven when it comes to quality and safety on site.
