Project Engineer

Our client is a busy second tier civil contractor based in the ACT. Due to their current workload they have a permanent opportunity available for an experienced Project Engineer to join them to work on a combination of road and highways, subdivision, pipeline and other general earthwork projects.
To be considered, applicants will need to have previous experience assisting Project Managers with the delivery of road, earthworks, pavements, drainage, culverts, stormwater, subdivision, pipeline and other earthwork projects for other civil contractors. You will additionally need to possess a Civil Degree and have between 3 to 5 years experience working within the construction industry.
In this role, you will be reporting to one of the Project Managers and be responsible for managing the project from site. So previous experience working as a Project Engineer; taking projects from start to completion is required. You will need to be safety and quality minded, have an eye for detail and the ability to multitask and drive a project forward.
