QA Engineer

Our client, a major Top Tier Civil Contractor who is currently working on major infrastructure projects throughout the east coast of Australia, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer / Manager to manage the quality assurance of a major infrastructure project based half an hour from the Gold Coast. In the role of Quality Assurance Engineer/ Manager you will be required to manage the overall quality of the entire project. In this role you will be required to:

• Audit schedules
• Manage the Quality Assurance of structural work and earthworks
• Review  work procedures
• Review subcontractor quality plans and checklists
• Collation of all quality documentation

To be successful for this role, you will ideally possess a degree in Civil Engineering supported by significant quality management experience overseeing and auditing the quality on the construction of major civil infrastructure projects preferably either with Railcorp or the RTA. Management skills are essential as is a solid knowledge of civil engineering processes, technology and systems.
