This is a rare opportunity with one of Australia's major blue chip organisations where you can help shape the future of their business within the rail industry. Recent tender wins and the resulting corporate growth has meant this company is now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their very successful rail group.

As a Rail Project Manager you will be responsible for running a tight ship to deliver projects on time and to budget, without compromising the safety of your crew or taking your eye off the big picture. You will be required to develop Project Management Plans so that the delivery phases of the project are effective and profitable. You will successfully control the project's financial administration, procurement, subcontracting process and ensure the project is sufficiently resourced on time and in line with the company's procedures.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 10 years industry experience having potentially worked your way up from a Project Manager or Estimator's role working on major rail projects. As the company is a civil contractor the work they are tendering for will include earthworks, drainage, earth cuttings, ballast, sleepers, track and bridges so previous exposure on these elements of a bid will be required - also seen as advantageous would be experience in over head wiring, traction and signalling.
