This is a rare opportunity with one of Australia's major blue chip organisations. Recent tender wins and the resulting corporate growth has meant this company is now looking for a Bid Manager to join their very successful rail group.
In this role, you will be supporting the development of winning sales strategies, developing value-add solutions, producing compelling/ winning bids and negotiating complex commercial agreements. You will have had previous experience in assembling and managing teams, analysing data to ensure positive financial outcomes, managing bid projects and proposals, costing and pricing, contract negotiation, administration and reporting.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 10 years industry experience having potentially worked your way of from a Project Manager or Estimators role working on major rail projects. As the company is a civil contractor the work that they are tendering for will include earthworks, drainage, earth cuttings, drainage, ballast. sleepers, track and bridges so previous exposure on these elements of a bid will be required and over head wiring, traction and signalling would be seen as advantageous.
