Our client, an independent PQS consultancy with an established history in the delivery of cost and project management services across the building and civil infrastructure sectors of industry, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be working with a team of professional Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers who pride themselves in being the best in their field in offering their clients sound advice on time and budget management within the construction industry.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
• Financial control
• Feasibility analysis, tender documentation and bill of quantities
• Forecasting, cost planning and client reporting

To be successful in this job, applicants will need to possess a degree in either Construction Management or Civil Engineering and must be eligible to become chartered QS either with RICS or the AIQS.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail is essential.
