Our client is a very well established and expanding contractor in the commercial, residential, retail, aged care and retail sectors seeking a Senior Estimator. From day one you will be working alongside two junior estimators in forming tenders and estimates in order to expand client contacts and win new business. You will assert your own style and independence over the running of this commercial department.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Estimating all construction costs
• Undertaking the valuing of costs and potential variations
• Financial control
• Feasibility analysis, tender documentation and bill of quantities
• Forecasting, cost planning and client reporting
• Measuring
• Some management of junior staff.
• Experience of tendering and estimating with Sydney clients

Applicants will ideally possess a degree in either Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail is essential.
