Tognetti are currently partnered with an international mining organisation that continues to exceedproduction targets; the company is expanding and as a result of a internal promotion they have a vacancy for a Geotechnical Engineer.
Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer,you will beresponsible for, but not limited to :

Input into planning and stope designs
-
Seismic monitoring and analysis
-
Exposure to shotcrete and paste fill systems
-
Assessment and implementation of ground control plans
-
Quality control of ground support installation
-
Geotechnical input for Life of Mine projects and sequencing
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
-
3+ yrs Experience in an Underground Mine
-
Tertiary qualification in Geology, Mining Engineering, Engineering Geology or Mining Geomechanics

Sound knowledge of rock mechanic principles and theory
-
Excellent communication skills
